Our retainer is designed to hold your teeth in place, not protect them from grinding or clenching. If you wear a nightguard, this retainer is not a replacement for it.

If your old retainer no longer fits, your teeth have shifted and your most recent scan is no longer accurate. You’ll need alignment treatment first. These are retainers, not aligners, so we can’t correct the shift.

Your retainer needs to be made from a scan taken after your treatment is complete. If you’re still in treatment, email ask@moses.com before ordering so we can talk through the timing.

Yes. The listed price is for the pair.

A complimentary stainless steel case is included with a retainer subscription. You can also buy the case separately.

You don’t need to do anything. We'll retrieve your scan from your existing dentist's office.

We’ll arrange a scan at a clinic near you and cover the cost.

We need a digital 3D scan of your teeth. An X-ray, physical impression, or existing retainer can’t replace that scan. If you don’t have one, we’ll help arrange it.

Timing depends on when we receive a usable scan and can begin making your retainer. For an update on your order, email ask@moses.com.

We don't ship outside the USA at the moment

We recommend replacing your retainer every six months. We recommend a subscription so a new retainer arrives before your current one wears out. Our retainers are designed to break down after six months of wear. That’s what makes them free of persistent microplastics.

Both options are available. Choose a one-time purchase or a subscription on the retainer page. Review the subscription terms before choosing your plan.

The same way you’d clean any retainer. Just avoid soaking it in water for more than six hours, and keep it away from very hot water.

Every retainer comes with a 30-day fit guarantee. If it isn’t right, we’ll remake it at no charge.

PHA, a biopolymer produced by microbes rather than petroleum. It performs like a conventional retainer without shedding persistent microplastics, and it fully biodegrades.

Making plastic crystal-clear requires adding chemical clarifiers and stabilizers. We leave them out. The slight translucence is the material in its natural state.
